Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Credential Verification) in Harrisonburg, VA. You will support access control, verify credentials, and monitor entry points while delivering professional customer service to clients and visitors.

The position offers weekend shift coverage with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour and opportunities to grow within a dynamic, security-focused team. Candidates must meet minimum requirements and may be subject to background checks and drug screening

Qualifications

Minimum requirements include a guard card or license preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background check conducted per federal, state and local laws.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply by state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while performing site-specific access-control procedures.
Monitor entry and exit points and verify credentials, maintaining accurate access records.
Screen and direct delivery drivers, vendors, and visitors according to site requirements.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and security-related situations.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, and surrounding perimeter.
