Job summary

Allied Universal in Lebanon, TN is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for Access Control at a logistics and distribution location. You will monitor entry points, verify access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents while providing professional service to employees, visitors, and drivers.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out access control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points for personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries at a logistics and distribution location.
• Verify identification, visitor authorization, and delivery documentation; maintain accurate access logs and report discrepancies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
