Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a part-time Security Officer Access Control in Lansing, MI to monitor entry points, verify credentials, and maintain a welcoming environment at a healthcare location.

You will provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors, respond to alarms, conduct regular patrols, and complete incident reports per site requirements. Pay rate is $19.00 per hour with weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry records, and direct individuals per site procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and security situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized access.
• Complete incident reports and shift documentation per Allied Universal and site requirements.
