Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Assurance in Omaha, NE to protect clients across industries, manage entry points, verify IDs, monitor logs, and provide customer service. The role uses computer/tablet systems to document access and communicate professionally with employees and visitors.

This is a full-time position with daytime shifts. The position requires at least a high school diploma, background check, and compliance with drug screening and licensing rules.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Criminal histories considered in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, visitor authorization, contractor credentials, and delivery documentation.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, issue access credentials as directed, and report irregularities.
