Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Driver for a site in Freeport, TX. The role provides flexible, reliable hours with opportunities to pick up additional shifts and earn more while supporting security operations.

Pay rate is $15.00 per hour. Minimum requirements include over 1 year of security experience, a valid state driver’s license, and a TSA TWIC. This position offers part-time hours with potential to scale up.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• A TSA-issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and vendors by enforcing access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor and contractor access documentation, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Screen incoming personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts, prohibited items, and unusual activity to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
