Job summary

Allied Universal in Dallas, TX is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Access Systems Driver to provide welcoming customer service, manage access, monitor entry points, and patrol a commercial real estate site.

This position offers a flexible schedule with day and night shifts; pay rate $18.07 per hour; driving responsibilities require a valid license and computer/tablet use; training and advancement opportunities are available through our Earn More platform.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license required.
Customer service experience preferred.
Access control and badge experience preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
CPR certification preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check and drug screen required by law.
Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor registrations, and contractor authorization in accordance with established site requirements.
Maintain accurate access-control, visitor, and incident documentation, escalating unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established communication and emergency response protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the commercial property, including building entrances, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
