Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Route Driver in Lewisville, TX. This role offers flexible, reliable hours at an assigned site with opportunities to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

Pay rate is $16.84 per hour. The schedule includes Day and Evening shifts with a six‑month anchor, plus a program to claim extra shifts across multiple sites. Ideal for building experience toward a full-time career in security.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A background check and drug screen may be required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees at a freight transportation and distribution location while following security procedures.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying identification, credentials, delivery documentation, and authorization for personnel, vehicles, and vendors entering or departing the location.
• Maintain access-control logs, issue and collect visitor credentials, and report access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
