Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Chantilly, VA. You will manage access points, verify credentials, and provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and staff while maintaining a visible security presence.

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Age: 18+ (unarmed) / 21+ (armed).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain entry records, and direct authorized individuals per site procedures.
• Screen incoming/outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries per site requirements; report discrepancies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document observations; complete required reports.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
