Job summary

Allied Universal in Provo, UT is seeking a Security Officer Entry Control to safeguard clients in manufacturing and industrial settings. This Part-Time role offers a flexible schedule and access to our "Claim a Shift" platform to explore shifts.

You will verify IDs, control access, monitor points, and maintain documentation; a valid driver’s license is required. CPR/First Aid is preferred; background check and drug screen will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Ability to verify identifications and manage access control procedures.
• Strong communication and observation skills with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site procedures.
• Control facility access by verifying IDs, registrations, and authorizations for people and vehicles.
• Monitor access points and security systems; document visitors and incidents accurately.
• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies following site procedures; notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and surrounding areas to identify unusual conditions.
