Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer – Access Control in Lenexa, KS. You will manage site entry, verify access, monitor activity on computers/tablets, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

The role offers a flexible daytime schedule with a pay rate of $18.75 per hour. Applicants must have a high school diploma, be 18+ (21+ for armed), pass background and drug screenings, and may need a driver’s license for driving

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background investigation required by law.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures and site policies.
Verify credentials, screen visitors, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized personnel.
Respond to incidents calmly and escalate security concerns as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, shipping/receiving, parking, and perimeter.
Observe and report unusual activity to site leadership.
