Allied Universal in Saint Pauls, NC is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Credential Access Driver to safeguard client facilities and support access control at a food production location. You will verify credentials, monitor alarm panels, conduct patrols, and deliver customer service while maintaining a welcoming environment.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to work a varied shift, and compliance with background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food production location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, following visitor and contractor entry procedures, and maintaining accurate access records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Report security-related observations, access-control issues, and unusual activity to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
