Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Driver in Freeport, TX. This role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and options to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

The position requires security experience, a valid Texas driver’s license, and a TSA-issued TWIC. Pay rate is $15.00 per hour, with a schedule supporting part-time hours and potential full-time growth.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1 year of security experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the job location.
• TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Background check and drug screening are part of the employment process.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue and collect access badges, and maintain entry/exit records.
• Screen incoming vehicles, deliveries, and contractors and report access concerns to site contacts and leadership.
• Respond to incidents calmly following location protocols for chemical and petrochemical sites.
• Conduct regular patrols of access-control areas, buildings, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
