Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced at the Copper Rdin site in Freeport, TX. The role is designed for individuals seeking flexible, reliable hours and the chance to grow within the industry leader.

The position offers fixed shifts at a designated site with the possibility to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform. Pay rate is $21.63 per hour, with requirements including valid license, TSA TWIC, and security experience.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by TSA is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and coordinate alarms, cameras, radios, telephones, and access control systems, documenting activities and escalating concerns.
• Dispatch security‑related personnel and coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Maintain dispatch logs, incident reports, and visitor or contractor information.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter and report issues.
