Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Access Control Attendant) in Gardner, KS. You will safeguard clients, manage entry points, verify credentials, and support a secure, welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation, drug screen, licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security procedures and access control policies.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials, issue visitor and contractor passes, and maintain access records.
• Respond calmly to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating to site contacts or leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, production areas, parking, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
• Communicate professionally to support orderly movement of people, vehicles, and deliveries at access points.
