Job summary

Imagination ABA Therapy in Long Branch, NJ, is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a BCBA-owned provider, we deliver evidence-based ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The Behavior Technician will support BCBA-directed programs and help clients acquire functional skills. This part-time role runs 8:00 am–2:30 pm, Monday–Friday, with ongoing supervision and mentorship to develop clinical skills in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work part-time 8am-2:30pm Monday-Friday.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy and resilience to support children and families with varying needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of ABA therapy programs developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
• Work closely with children and families to develop meaningful skills, facilitate functional communication, and promote independence and real-world outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including parents, schools, and other professionals, to ensure therapy is practical, respectful, and impactful across settings.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of therapy sessions, including data collection and progress monitoring.
• Participate in ongoing supervision, training, and mentorship programs to ensure ongoing skill development and professional growth.
