Job summary

Compass ABA is hiring ABA Behavior Technicians/RBTs for afternoon shifts in Essex County, NJ and surrounding Newark area. The role delivers one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism, building communication, play, and daily living skills in home or community settings.

Afternoon/evening shifts 3–4 hours, with same-day pay and flexible schedules. Join a collaborative team with supervision toward RBT/BCBA certification and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; college preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to complete onboarding requirements.
• Experience with children/autism preferred.
• Reliable transportation, strong communication, and technology comfort.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.
• Build skills and manage behaviors, foster independence.
• Collaborate with families and staff on treatment plans.
• Offer encouragement and care during sessions.
• Create a safe, structured learning environment.
• Collect and record data to guide treatment.
• Participate in supervision and growth as an ABA Technician/RBT.
