Job summary

Compass ABA in Hudson County, NJ is hiring ABA Behavior Technician/RBTs for afternoon shifts (3-4 hrs/day). Positions are part-time (15–20 hrs/week) with opportunities in Jersey City and North Bergen.

The role delivers individualized ABA therapy to children with autism under BCBA supervision, helping develop communication, play, social, and daily living skills in homes or community settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (college preferred).
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to complete onboarding requirements.
• Experience with children/autism preferred.
• Reliable transportation, strong communication, and technology comfort.

Responsibilities

• Adventure Guide: Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.
• Behavior Navigator & Skill Scout: Build skills, manage behaviors, foster independence.
• Team Explorer: Collaborate with families and staff on treatment plans.
• Compass of Compassion: Offer encouragement and care during sessions.
• Calm Captain: Create a safe, structured learning environment.
• Progress Compass: Collect and record data to guide treatment.
• Learning Navigator: Participate in supervision and growth as an ABA Behavior Technician/RBT.
