Job summary

Butterfly Effects is seeking Child Interventionists/Behavior Technicians or Registered Behavior Technicians in Methuen, MA for after-school sessions with children who have autism. You will implement ABA-based plans, support communication and social skills, and work closely with families to foster progress.

This part-time role offers 4:00pm–7:00pm hours, competitive hourly pay based on experience, and training opportunities toward RBT certification or BCBA pathways with our support.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• RBT certification if already obtained.
• Passion for working with children.
• Positive interpersonal skills.
• Experience with children is advantageous.
• Willingness to ongoing training.
• Valid driver's license, personal vehicle and auto insurance.
• Tablet or laptop required for sessions.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Observes and reports client progress daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Applies behavioral principles in all interactions.
• Assists clients to acquire academic and life skills.
• Communicates professionally with families and tutors.
• Acts as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data notes accurately.
• Participates in ongoing training programs.
• Maintains confidentiality and follows BE policies.
