Butterfly Effects is hiring for a part-time Child Interventionist, Behavior Technician, or RBT to support children and families affected by autism. Earn an hourly rate based on experience and certifications, with after-school hours Mon-Fri 3-7pm and opportunities for training and BCBA pathways.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, data-driven practice, and teamwork within our family-centered ABA program. Transportation is required and a criminal background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: RBT certification if already obtained.
• Passion for working with children and families.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA.
• Observes, records, and reports client progress and behavior daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Applies behavioral principles in interactions with clients.
• Assists clients to acquire academic or life skills as needed.
• Communicates professionally with parents, analysts, trainers, and clients.
• Functions as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data collection in the online database.
• Participates in ongoing training to increase skills.
• Maintains confidentiality of client information.
• Follows Butterfly Effects policies and procedures.
