Job summary

Alora Behavioral Health in California is seeking compassionate Behavior Technicians to join our growing ABA team. You will provide one-on-one support to children and individuals with autism, helping them develop communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills through evidence-based ABA therapy.

This part-time role offers afternoon and evening scheduling, paid training, and opportunities for advancement into Lead, Senior, and Specialist positions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience working with children in a professional, educational, caregiving, or similar capacity.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Availability for at least 15 hours per week, primarily during afternoons and evenings, with a consistent schedule.
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and a passion for helping others.
• Ability to complete pre-employment screening including background check, TB testing, and health documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, one-on-one ABA therapy under supervision of a BCBA or clinician.
• Help clients develop communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.
• Implement treatment plans using evidence-based ABA strategies and positive behavior support.
• Collect session data, track progress, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Provide services in clients' homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other settings.
• Collaborate with supervisors, BCBAs, caregivers, and team members.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
