Job summary

Achievement Behavior Services is seeking compassionate and dependable ABA Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide one‑on‑one ABA therapy to children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This is a part‑time, in‑person position providing services in clients' homes and community settings throughout Nassau County.

We offer after‑school and weekend schedules across Nassau County, with supervision by a BCBA and opportunities to pursue the RBT

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or adolescents
• Experience supporting individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities
• Registered Behavior Technician certification is preferred but not required
• Strong communication and rapport-building skills
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and adaptable
• Ability to travel consistently to the selected client's location

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in accordance with the client's individualized treatment plan
• Implement behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of a BCBA
• Support the development of communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills
• Use appropriate reinforcement and behavioral redirection techniques
• Collect accurate data during each session
• Complete timely and detailed session notes
• Recognize and document changes in client behavior and progress
• Communicate professionally with clients, caregivers, supervisors, and coworkers
• Seek clinical guidance from the supervising BCBA when support is needed
• Maintain a consistent weekly schedule and arrive punctually for sessions
