Job summary

Study Smart Tutors seeks enthusiastic instructors to tutor Math (Calculus & Statistics) and ELA in Vallejo, CA. This part-time role requires in-person presence and a minimum 4-year degree.

You will support students individually and in groups, access class materials, and collaborate with the Education team to tailor learning strategies. Compensation includes $40 per hour with benefits such as a 401(k) plan and wellness resources.

Qualifications

• MUST hold a completed 4-year degree.
• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired.
• In-person availability is required.
• Scheduled hours: Wednesdays from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
• Background check may include fingerprinting based on location.

Responsibilities

• Teach Math (Calculus & Statistics) and ELA to students.
• Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
• Tutors will have access to information about class assignments.
• Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies.
• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart staff.
• Partner with Study Smart Tutor’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students.
