Chapter One is seeking a Part-Time Early Literacy Interventionist for the 2026-2027 school year in Hillsborough County, FL. The role delivers 1:1 reading support to students, utilizing Chapter One's structured model, with a Bachelor’s degree as a requirement and Monday–Friday onsite availability.

The position emphasizes data-driven instruction, collaboration with teachers and literacy staff, and the use of technology for progress documentation and practice activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four year institution.
• Proficient with Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Gmail.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and writing skills.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work onsite Monday-Friday.
• Ability to pass Chapter One and District required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor student progress throughout the year using Chapter One's tools and assessments.
• Deliver personalized 1:1 instruction based on Chapter One's structured model.
• Document each tutoring session using Chapter One's platform.
• Assign new practice activities during each session.
• Challenge students to reach each new goal and celebrate student success.
• Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with managers, classroom instructors, literacy coaches, and administrators.
• Provide basic technology support for the students' use of handheld devices for independent practice.
• Analyze student performance data to inform instructional delivery and accelerate learning.
