Job summary

Chapter One is seeking Early Literacy Interventionists (ELIs) for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time role requires a Bachelor's degree and involves delivering personalized 1:1 reading instruction to young learners using our structured model.

On-site work Monday through Friday with reliable transportation is required, with pay at $32.50 per hour and district-wide coverage as needed. No prior experience is required; the right attitude and learning mindset are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and writing skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Monitor student progress using Chapter One's tools and assessments.
• Deliver personalized 1:1 reading instruction.
• Document tutoring sessions in Chapter One's platform.
• Provide basic technology support for handheld devices.
• Communicate with managers and instructors about student progress.
• Analyze data to inform instructional delivery.
