Chapter One is hiring an Early Literacy Interventionist for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time role requires a Bachelor's degree and reliable transportation.

You will provide 1:1 reading instruction, use Chapter One's structured model, and collaborate with a team of educational staff to support each child's reading development. Ideal candidates have intermediate tech skills and are available Monday through Friday on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for the role.
• Strong interpersonal, oral communication and writing skills expected.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work on-site Mon-Fri.
• Intermediate technology skills and comfort with education software.

Responsibilities

• Monitor student progress throughout the year using Chapter One tools and assessments.
• Deliver 1:1 reading instruction following Chapter One's model.
• Document tutoring sessions in Chapter One's platform.
• Assign practice activities during each session and track goals.
• Collaborate with managers, instructors, literacy coaches, and administrators.
