Job summary

The Florida Commission on Offender Review is seeking a Commission Investigator – CS in Tallahassee to review Conditional Release and Addiction Recovery interviews, perform QA checks, and coordinate with interstate staff. The role requires a high school diploma and knowledge of the criminal justice system.

Applicants should be able to work under pressure, manage priorities, and communicate effectively with inmates, staff, and family members. Background screening is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Review Conditional Release and Addiction Recovery Interviews and enter data in the CDC database.
• Perform quality assurance checks of inmate eligibility for Conditional Release and Addiction Recovery Supervision.
• Review requests for curfew extensions or modifications of supervision conditions and docket placements.
• Coordinate with Interstate Compact staff on related issues.
• Answer inquiries from the Department of Corrections regarding eligibility, case status, or docket scheduling.
• Respond to inmates, offenders, and families via mail, email, and phone.
• Run criminal histories as a certified eAgent (NCIC/FCIC) operator.
• Perform other duties as required.
