Job summary

The Florida Department of Corrections is seeking a Correctional Probation Senior Officer to supervise and manage a specialized caseload across juvenile, drug offender probation, community controlees, and related programs in Circuit 04 Multi-Hire Probation and Parole Office, located in TBA, Florida (Clay, Duval and Nassau Counties).

The role requires field and office supervision, intake and court liaison duties, staff guidance, and collaboration with local law enforcement to foster public safety

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and/or under stressful conditions.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Encourages offender compliance with supervision orders through guidance and monitoring.
• Conducts field and office supervision visits to ensure compliance and assist offenders.
• Maintains case records and prepares reports on offender background and progress.
• Develops offender treatment plans and monitors adherence.
• Installs and monitors electronic monitoring devices as required.
• Participates in training and may act as day-to-day training officer.
