Job summary

The City of New Smyrna Beach is seeking a Parks Technician I to perform unskilled and limited semi-skilled manual labor focused on cleaning, maintenance, and upkeep of city facilities and grounds. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a Florida Driver's License; TTC training must be completed within six months of employment.

The position offers an hourly wage of $17.5875 and a set schedule from Wednesday through Sunday, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; no prior training is required, some experience in manual labor is desired.
• Valid Florida Driver's License.
• Complete Temporary Traffic Control (TTC) training through the Florida Department of Transportation within six (6) months of employment and maintain throughout employment.
