Job Summary:

Do you love working with your hands and being outdoors? The City of St. Peters Parks Department is looking for motivated, reliable individuals to join our Maintenance Team at 370 Lakeside Park! As a part-time Parks Maintenance Crew Member, you'll play a vital role in keeping our beautiful parks and campground running smoothly, cleanly, and safely. This part-time opportunity is perfect for someone who enjoys a variety of outdoor tasks.

Part-time staff typically work three to four days per week between April and October and two to three days per week between November and March, with rotating weekend shifts. If you're looking for a rewarding part-time opportunity to help maintain and enhance the City's parks and trails, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general groundskeeping tasks such as mowing, trimming, and landscaping
• Keep park facilities clean and orderly, including restrooms and public areas
• Conduct basic repairs and routine maintenance on park structures and equipment
• Assist with campsite setup and general campground upkeep
• Maintain park tools, vehicles, and maintenance equipment
• Provide general support for day-to-day park operations
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe, well-maintained park environment

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be a US citizen or lawfully authorized alien worker.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and carry it a reasonable distance and occasionally lift and/or move more than 75 lbs.
• Must have a Motor Vehicle Operators license valid in the state of Missouri.
• Must be able to workdays, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
