• Valid Texas driver's license; preferred certifications: CPRE, Playground Safety Inspector, Irrigator, Pesticide Applicator.
• Experience in facility operations/oversight or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Leads development of departmental priorities and seeks new processes.
• Oversees management of parks facilities and municipal properties.
• Prepares monthly reports on department activities.
• Represents the department in public meetings and with officials.
• Manages operating budget and grants as applicable.
• Recruits, trains, and evaluates staff; ensures policy compliance.
