Job summary

City of Pearland is seeking a friendly Member Services Specialist to deliver exceptional front-line service at the Pearland Recreation Center & Natatorium. You will process memberships, registrations, rentals, and related transactions while maintaining a clear, customer-focused approach.

The role requires supervision duties at times, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with emphasis on accuracy and member satisfaction. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires High School graduation or GED equivalent.
• One (1) or more years of customer service experience, preferably in a supervisory or lead role.
• Valid Texas Driver's License
• First Aid
• CPR

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality customer service, memberships, and program registrations.
• Serve as Manager-on-Duty during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Respond to escalated customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Process membership cancellations per City policies and procedures.
• Manage third-party membership transactions and reporting as applicable.
• Coordinate rentals and programming spaces and be on-site during events.
