Salt Lake City Corporation is seeking a Parks and Public Lands Project Coordinator in Salt Lake City, UT. The role oversees deferred maintenance and asset replacement projects, including procurement, contractor selection, construction oversight, and coordination with multiple departments and external agencies.

The position requires strong project management skills, ability to manage budgets and schedules, and experience working with the public and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in project coordination, construction management, PM, development review or urban planning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid state driver’s license or Utah driving privilege card.
• Experience with budgets and scheduling software.

Responsabilités

• Serves as project coordinator for deferred maintenance and asset replacement projects, including coordination with vendors and stakeholders.
• Develops project scopes, technical specifications, cost estimates, and recommendations for maintenance or renovation.
• Coordinates task orders, RFQs and RFPs with Finance, Purchasing, and Planning and Design project managers.
• Monitors contractor performance and ensures projects meet operational maintenance and asset management needs.
• Provides clear reporting to leadership and engages with public and stakeholders.
