Job summary

Civil Science, Inc. seeks a driven Public Works Project Manager to lead municipal infrastructure projects in Utah from Salt Lake City or Lehi offices. You will serve as the primary client contact, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and guide teams to successful delivery.

We value a licensed engineer who can own project outcomes, build strong client relationships, mentor staff, and help expand our Utah backlog and market presence.

Qualifications

• Licensed engineer with PE designation.
• Experience leading public agency projects and client-facing roles.
• Ability to lead teams and drive accountability across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary client contact for public works projects in Utah.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget for multiple municipal projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams across phases.
• Deliver high-quality infrastructure projects for city, county, and state agencies.
• Support business development through proposals and client relationships.
• Collaborate with leadership to expand backlog and market presence.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.
• Ensure projects meet quality, risk, and compliance standards.
