VACANT POSITION
The City of Perry, a vibrant, growing community in central Iowa, is seeking an individual to serve in the Parks Maintenance Worker role.
The City of Perry Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented individual to assist in the development, operation, and maintenance of park land, park facilities, and bike trails.
Must have effective oral and written communication skills. The duties performed in this position include operation of equipment, grounds maintenance, and facility maintenance and repair.
Other duties within the Parks and Recreation Department may be assigned.
A high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license are required. The applicant must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Class B CDL with Air Brakes Endorsement.
Applicants must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen. Experience operating equipment and basic knowledge of building and grounds maintenance are preferred.
Pay: $26.97 per hour, Full-Time
