Job summary

The City of Belton is seeking a Maintenance Technician I/II to perform general maintenance, repairs, and installations at parks, medians, and municipal facilities. This role involves outdoor and indoor tasks under the Parks and Recreation Department.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least 1 year of Parks maintenance experience.
  • Valid Class C Texas Driver’s License; higher class may be required after employment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain athletic fields and grounds, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
  • Perform landscaping, mowing, trimming, and water grounds as needed.
  • Assist with park buildings; paint, repair, and install fixtures.
  • Maintain equipment; conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Follow safety protocols and wear required protective gear.
