Job summary

The City of Conroe is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to carry out essential maintenance and repair tasks at parks facilities. Key responsibilities include performing general maintenance, operating various tools, and providing high-quality service to the community.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Texas Class 'C' Driver's License or higher, or ability to obtain within six months.
• Must possess First Aid and CPR certifications or ability to obtain within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine general and preventative maintenance to City of Conroe parks grounds.
• Analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
• Understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

Skills

Knowledge of principles and practices of parks and recreation facilities maintenance and repair

Skill in operating a variety of tools, equipment, vehicles and trailers

Ability to provide high-quality customer service

Education

High school diploma or equivalent with three to five years minimum experience
