Job summary

The Belton Parks & Recreation Department is seeking a Facility Maintenance Manager to oversee daily maintenance and custodial services for High Blue. You will supervise custodial staff, coordinate repairs, and ensure safe, efficient operation of the facility.

Responsibilities include coordinating with external contractors, performing basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry tasks, and maintaining logs. A valid driver’s license and 5 years in building maintenance are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of experience in building or facility maintenance, preferably with some management experience.
• Experience supervising custodial or maintenance staff is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee day-to-day custodial duties.
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry tasks.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for larger repairs.
• Maintain logs and records of maintenance requests and work orders.
• Hire and train maintenance staff as needed.
