Job summary

Lincoln County Parks Department seeks a Parks Host Coordinator to provide year-round coordination and administrative support for the county parks host program. Responsibilities include recruitment, scheduling, training, supervision, safety, procedures, revenue deposits, inventory, and volunteer coordination, with Moonshine and Elk City parks as primary locations.

The role offers full-time benefits, a hybrid work option within Oregon, and a competitive hourly wage of $25.59–$27.96.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or professional certification in parks, natural resource management, hospitality management, or public administration.
• Two to three years of experience managing a small team.
• Oregon Driver's License required within 30 days of hire.
• Previous experience in volunteer coordination, customer service, or park management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise Park Hosts to ensure quality guest experiences and adherence to park policies.
• Create and manage schedules for park hosts; adjust for seasonal needs and events.
• Oversee safety programs, cash handling, and maintenance tasks; maintain SOPs and SDS records.
• Coordinate inventory, uniforms, supplies, and annual/seasonal counts.
• Support community engagement and organize volunteer events and park improvements.
