Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Missouri Class B Driver License within six months from hire date (General Knowledge and Air Brakes).
• Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Pre-employment drug test and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Pick up trash and debris on City property.
• Mow and trim all grounds owned by City.
• Paint and repair benches, playground equipment, and other park facilities.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment (e.g. mowers, power tools).
• Operate tractors, riding mowers, and other heavy equipment.
• Receive and complete forms, work orders, reports, and other documents.
• Perform janitorial and custodial maintenance of recreational facilities, grounds, and buildings.
