Eau Claire County is seeking an Administrative Support specialist for the Parks and Forest Department. You will handle office operations, records, public inquiries, and financial tasks including AP/AR, budgeting assistance, and grant reimbursements.

Provides comprehensive administrative, clerical, receptionist, financial, and operational support to the Parks and Forest Department. This position is responsible for coordinating office operations, maintaining records and databases, supporting public services, and performing fiscal management functions including accounts payable/receivable, budgeting assistance, grant reimbursement tracking, and financial reporting. The role ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in departmental financial and administrative operations.

Paid Time Off (PTO):Accrual is based on years of service with the County, starting at 6.4 hours accruing each pay period (20.8 days per year), with the maximum accrual rate of 35.75 days per year. All new hires at Eau Claire County receive 40 hours of front-loaded PTO upon hire, which they may begin using immediately. *Manager PTO accrual available upon request*
