Job summary

Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy is seeking an Event Sales Manager to lead the park-space rental program across multiple venues, from inquiry to post-event follow-up. You will drive revenue, grow repeat bookings, and work with Marketing to promote rental opportunities.

Reporting to the Director of Operations and Visitor Engagement, you will coordinate with PPC staff, City partners, and vendors to deliver safe, professional, and memorable events while maintaining PPC’s mission and stewardship of

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in events, hospitality, or sales.
• Experience leading rental or venue-sales programs preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Owns the event rental sales process from inquiry to follow-up.
• Establishes annual rental revenue goals with leadership and strategies to achieve them.
• Develops new rental business through outreach and partnerships.
• Responds to inquiries, conducts site tours, and converts leads to bookings.
• Maintains a robust pipeline and tracks revenue, bookings, and lead sources.
• Cultivates relationships with clients, planners, vendors, and community partners.
