Job summary

Bend Park and Recreation District is seeking a full-time Rental and Event Specialist to manage end-to-end execution of large-scale park rentals and community events. The role involves evaluating new requests, ensuring documentation, applying fees, and serving as the primary on-site contact for events.

You will collaborate with multiple districts and vendors, monitor budgets, and ensure compliance with park guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required and two years of related experience preferred.
• Experience with event rentals, park operations, and applicable policies is desirable.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end execution of large-scale rentals and community events in parks.
• Evaluate new event requests and feasibility within park guidelines.
• Apply accurate fees and deposits and process refunds per policy.
• Coordinate pre- and post-event meetings and serve as primary contact during events.
• Monitor revenues and expenses, assist with budgeting, and run reports.
• Maintain relationships with event organizers, vendors, and district staff.
