Job summary

Key Pen Parks seeks a qualified professional to lead park development and management projects under the Executive Director. You will coordinate planning, design, and construction activities, ensuring compliance with codes and budgets while engaging with engineers, agencies, and the public.

The role requires a bachelor's degree related to landscape or planning fields and several years of construction project management experience, with a valid WA driver’s license and background check.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in construction, planning, design, and permitting, including at least two (2) years of construction project management.
• Driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Criminal background check required prior to appointment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple projects at various stages of development and delivery of park facilities.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, communication plans, and schedules with staff and stakeholders.
• Coordinate planning, design and engineering consultants, RFQs, RFPs, contracts and supervision.
• Communicate findings and provide technical information to management and public.
• Coordinate with agencies and teams; organize meetings and presentations as needed.
• Oversee environment, surveying and other specialized firms; manage contracts and approvals.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for the Executive Director; track progress and payments.
• Ensure conformance with design, specs, and contract documents during construction.
