Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis Company, is seeking a Part-Time Traffic Control Attendant for a seasonal program in Orlando. The role focuses on keeping the lot organized, ensuring the correct number of cars, and assisting customers with questions while maintaining safety and appearance.

You will stand and walk during shifts, wear the uniform, and report accidents or hazards to the Facility or Senior Manager. Availability for second or third shift and weekends may be required, with the goal of smooth traffic

Qualifications

  • Education/Experience: Less than High School education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination.
  • License: Valid state-issued driver's license with acceptable driving record, if driving a company vehicle.
  • Availability: Special shift requirements; may require 2nd/3rd shift and/or weekends.
  • Language: Ability to read, write and present information to customers and employees.
  • Mathematical: Basic math and cash handling.
  • Appearance: Neat, clean appearance in uniform.
  • Physical: Stand/walk, may lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for being at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
  • Courteously assist customers by answering questions.
  • Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
  • Report accidents, safety hazards or policy violations to Facility or Senior Manager.
  • Communicate debris, water, oil spills to Facility or Senior Manager.
  • Know major streets, landmarks and freeways near the lot.
  • Assist Facility or Senior Manager with other duties.
