Job summary

The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) is seeking a Project Manager II for the Streets Division to oversee major parking technology initiatives, vendor contracts, and cross-functional coordination. The role focuses on Citations/Permits processing, SFpark data modernization, and meter data integration.

Responsibilities include budgeting, procurement, change management, and stakeholder outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field plus 4 years of experience implementing and managing integrated information systems projects.
• Or 8 years of experience implementing and managing integrated information systems projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement, implementation, transition, and contract management for major parking technology systems.
• Coordinate with IT, operational programs and other SFMTA divisions on system integrations and improvements.
• Prepare budgets, monitor costs and schedules, and develop procurement documents.
• Negotiate and administer contracts; monitor vendor performance and invoices.
• Serve as liaison to vendors and city departments; oversee data exchanges and analytics.
• Support program outreach and change management for new or modified parking systems.
