Job summary

Kimley-Horn in Columbus, OH is seeking planning students to join our parking team for an on-site internship. You will participate in pre-construction planning, permitting, and analysis across multiple projects, collaborating with disciplines to help realize clients' visions for the future built environment.

Responsibilities include evaluating zoning compliance, preparing planning studies, and coordinating with municipal and state agencies.

Qualifications

• In the process of receiving a Planning Degree (Bachelor's or Master's) from an accredited program.
• Majors include City and Regional Planning, Urban Planning, Transportation Planning, or related fields.

Kimley-Horn is looking for Planning students to join our Columbus, Ohio (OH) office on the parking team! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the pre-construction planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects ranging in size and scope.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients' visions for the future built environment.
• Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn's and our client's practices, procedures, and standards.
• Evaluate development proposals to identify compliance with zoning regulations.
• Prepare planning and land use studies.
• Coordinate with various municipal and state agencies.

Qualifications

  • Urban Planning
  • Transportation Planning
  • Or Other Related Major
