Job summary

Colonial Parking, Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager in Washington, DC area. This role manages day-to-day operations across a portfolio of locations, ensuring safety, service standards, and fiscal discipline while aligning performance with budgets.

The Operations Manager collaborates with Account Management, reviews monthly financials, and provides variance analysis to enhance profitability and client satisfaction. Travel to multiple facilities is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of three years of experience managing and training employees in a supervisory capacity.
• Minimum of three years of parking or related operations management experience.
• At least two years of client relationship management experience, preferably coordinating with account management.
• Experience managing or supporting an annual budget.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across assigned locations to ensure compliance with Colonial Parking policies, procedures, contractual obligations, and service standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess safety, appearance, staffing performance, signage, lighting, surface conditions, and overall facility conditions.
• Coordinate site openings, transitions, and closures with Account Management and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee merchant validation programs and ensure adherence to validation revenue policies and procedures.
• Support client retention efforts by maintaining professional, responsive, and results-focused communication with client representatives.
• Review monthly financial statements for assigned locations to ensure accuracy and alignment with operational activity.
• Provide clear variance commentary explaining financial performance against budget.
