Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis Company, is seeking personnel to support parking operations at a Portland, ME location. You will assist in day-to-day location management, promote client satisfaction, and provide courteous customer service while maintaining equipment and reporting incidents as needed.

The role requires a minimal high school diploma or equivalent with basic related experience, strong communication skills, and a valid state driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with minimal month related experience or training.
• Oral communication - speaks clearly; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions.
• Written communication - writes clearly and informatively; can read and interpret written information.
• Customer service - maintains positive attitude. Responds to requests for service and assistance.
• Adaptability - adapts to changes in the work environment; able to deal with change, delays, or unexpected events.
• Judgment - exhibits sound and accurate judgment.
• License requirement - valid state-issued driver's license with current address and acceptable driving record if driving a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day management of a location ensuring operations adhere to contractual guidelines.
• Participate in programs to improve client and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in the management of day-to-day activities of the assigned locations.
• Assist with management duties as assigned.
• Courteously assist customers.
• Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment and general maintenance tasks as directed by the Facility Manager.
• Report any accidents, policy violations, safety hazards or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
• Assist with cleanup of debris, water, oil spills and etc.
• Substitute for any position, if necessary.
• Have thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage and major streets in the area.
• Complete other duties as needed.
