Job summary

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) Division of Parking Management is seeking a Transportation Contract Compliance Inspector II, Grade 22, to oversee contracts for parking facilities and ensure contractor compliance with bid documents, safety standards, and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience performing program or project management, contract administration, or Capital Improvement Project support work.
• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, construction management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare contracts, conduct inspections, and monitor work performed at public parking facilities to ensure contractors deliver duties as specified in contract documents.
• Resolve issues related to contractor performance and address citizen and customer complaints regarding contracted services.
• Collect data, maintain records, and prepare correspondence and reports related to contracts and contracted services.
• Review contractor invoices and make recommendations regarding payment.
• Recommend updates or changes to contract documents based on experience and observations from monitored services.
• Assist with budget preparation and tracking.
