Job summary

M&J Engineering P.C. is looking for a Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) / Traffic Control Inspector to support Maryland DOT projects. You will inspect and document traffic control setups, ensure compliance with safety standards, and coordinate with contractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-7 years of experience in transportation construction inspection.
• ATSSA Traffic Control Technician (TCT) or Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) certification.
• NICET Level II or III certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor contractor implementation of Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) and traffic control plans.
• Inspect temporary traffic control devices including signs and barriers.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards.
